An Improved Acoustic Model for Active Noise Control in a Duct
نویسندگان
چکیده
This paper presents a model of sound propagation in a duct, for the purpose of active noise control. A physical model generally different from those explored in much of the literature is derived, with non-constant acoustic load impedance at the one end, and a coupled disturbance loudspeaker model at the other end. Experimental results are presented which validate the derived transfer function. @DOI: 10.1115/1.1592192#

Compact and Efficient Active Vibro-acoustic Control of a Smart Plate Structure
An effective wide band active control law through one kind of the Dynamic Vibration Absorber (DVA) is proposed and studied in this paper. With the help of mechanical impedance method, active DVA control law is formulated based on the passive mechanical model. The electrical DVA can generate multi-mode active damping to the structure. The host structure is an aluminum plate and acceleration sign...

متن کاملActive Noise Control for a One-dimensional Acoustic Duct Using Feedback Control Techniques: Modelling and Simulation
The modelling and simulation of the Active Noise Control (ANC) using the fixed feedback control for a hard-wall one-dimensional acoustic duct system is discussed. The state-space models as well as the transfer function description are derived based on physical principles. The coupled dynamic between the cancelling loudspeaker and the acoustic duct is explicitly expressed in these models. Beside...
